Cases & Lacambra announces the addition of Carlos Ripollés as a partner, former co-founder and LATAM CEO of Meeting Lawyers.

Based in Miami, his objective will be to strengthen ties with the Latin American market and consolidate the Firm’s presence in the United States.

With over 20 years of experience in the legal sector and business development for legal service providers across various markets and jurisdictions (including Brazil, Mexico, and Oman), Ripollés joins the Firm, which has had its own office in Miami since 2019—a city that serves as a natural hub between Europe, the United States, and Latin America.

Carlos holds a Law degree from ESADE and specialises in Business Law from the same institution.

Before joining Cases & Lacambra, Ripollés co-founded and was the LATAM CEO of Meeting Lawyers, where he introduced digital legal consultation services to the Latin American market. Earlier in his career in Spain, he developed his professional career at Baker McKenzie and in the legal advisory departments for treasury and capital markets at Caixabank and BBVA. He later launched the Iberia desk for several international law firms. His professional background includes structuring high-impact transactions, entering strategic markets, and strengthening commercial relationships in various regions.

We are thrilled to welcome Carlos Ripollés to our team. His extensive experience and ability to execute strategic agreements will be key in achieving our goal of expanding commercial relationships in Latin America and the United States,” says Miguel Cases, Partner and Executive Chairman of the Firm. “Supporting our clients on a global and international scale has always been part of our roadmap. Having Carlos on board allows us to continue progressing and reaching our objectives,” adds Ernesto Lacambra, Managing Partner of the Firm.

With this addition, Cases & Lacambra reaffirms its commitment to expanding its services in high-growth markets, supporting businesses looking to capitalise on opportunities in the U.S. and Latin American markets.
