Cases & Lacambra strengthens its Real Estate and Urban Planning team with the incorporation of Marta González-Llera, who will be a new partner of the Firm and will lead this practice group.
With this new addition, the Firm maintains its strategic commitment to continue enhancing the Real Estate practice group, which is a clear commitment to continuity in the exercise of this area. In this regard, the new partner will take over from Daniel Tienda, until now the partner in charge of the team, who is embarking on a new professional stage.
Marta González-Llera has an extensive professional career of over 15 years in the field of Real Estate and Urban Planning Law. This double specialization allows her to offer comprehensive advice at all stages of the Real Estate cycle.
She has been involved in some of the most complex and important Real Estate transactions in the last year, including joint ventures between international funds and local developers, hotel portfolio sales and purchases, BTR transactions, commercial leases, etc. She is an expert in advising on greenfield and brownfield projects, among others, in the living (coliving, student residences and senior living) and hotel sectors, from land acquisition to licensing.
Prior to joining Cases & Lacambra, in recent years she has developed an intense profesional activity at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo. Furthermore, Marta González-Llera complements her professional activity with research and teaching, being a lecturer at the Legal Clinic of Autónoma University and International University of la Rioja. She is also a lecturer on the High Specialization Course in Real Estate Law at the School of Legal Practice of Complutense University.
With this new addition, the Firm adds a new partner with extensive experience, which will strengthen a strategic area, as well as a key location such as Madrid, from where she will offer her advice. It is also a further step in the Firm’s strategy to maintain its strong vocation for specialization, without losing its essence.
“The incorporation of Marta to lead the Real Estate team is a great boost to our consolidation strategy”, says Ernesto Lacambra, co-managing partner of Cases & Lacambra. “The growth of the Real Estate group demonstrates the Firm’s strong commitment to a sector in which we continue to reinforce our already high level of specialization, and in which we have professionals with solid experience”, adds Miguel Cases, co-managing partner of the Firm.
