Claudi Rossell is Of Counsel at Cases Lacambra in Andorra. He specializes in treasury legal management, financial derivatives, securitization, and international banking contracts. He is the author of Legal Aspects of the International SWAP Agreement and regularly publishes articles on banking law and Private International Law in specialized journals. As external counsel, he has primarily practiced in Barcelona and Chicago. He has also held senior legal management positions in banking institutions and securitization management companies. He has extensive experience in complex litigation and arbitration related to his areas of expertise. He represented Spain on the committee responsible for drafting the EPA rulebooks in the implementation of the Payment Services Directive and, as a member of the working group promoted by AEB and CECA, participated in the 2009, 2013, and 2020 versions of the CMOF. He is an Associate Professor of Private International Law at the University of Barcelona and was a postdoctoral researcher at Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
