Lucas Palomar

Lucas Palomar is a partner at Cases & Lacambra in Spain. He has more than 30 years of experience and specializes in mergers and acquisitions, as well as legal advisory work in negotiation and transactional processes, due diligence, and leading legal mandates in buy- and sell-side transactions for both industrial clients and private equity firms. He is also highly experienced in corporate governance, particularly in the field of family-owned businesses, and in providing corporate law advice to both domestic and multinational groups. In addition, Lucas serves as Secretary to the Board of Directors of several companies. His multidisciplinary background stands out, having led projects carried out by teams composed of lawyers, tax, labor, and financial advisors, among others. This has given him a fully business-oriented, 360-degree perspective in transactional and corporate environments. Alongside his professional practice, he has developed an extensive academic career in several programs at ESADE Business School. He currently teaches the M&A and Markets course in the Executive Master in Finance. Previously, he served as a professor of corporate law and M&A in ESADE’s Law School, MBA, AGT, and DIN programs.
