Oscar Morales is a partner at Cases Lacambra in Spain. He is a specialist in Criminal Law and has been practicing as a lawyer for twenty-five years. During this time, he has represented a wide range of financial and banking institutions— in some cases defending their chairpersons and board members— as well as multinational companies across diverse sectors, including energy, fashion and luxury, consumer goods, healthcare, environment, tourism, infrastructure, and logistics. He has appeared before professional courts and jury courts, taking part in some of the most significant criminal cases heard in Spain. Prior to his legal practice, he served for five years as a substitute judge at the Barcelona Provincial Court. Óscar Morales also has extensive academic experience. He completed his pre-doctoral training in Germany (University of Freiburg) and Italy (University of Trento) and is the author of several books and dozens of legal articles. He has taught at various Spanish and international universities, including ESADE, UAB, UOC, URV, and the University of Trento, and has been a speaker at numerous national and international conferences. In 2023, he was appointed Full Member of the Royal European Academy of Doctors.
