Toni Barios is a partner at Cases & Lacambra. He advises financial institutions and corporate groups on all types of financing, restructuring, and refinancing transactions, including structured finance, corporate and acquisition finance, real estate, energy and infrastructure project finance, asset finance, debt issuances, and securitizations. He also advises financial institutions and funds on regulatory matters, as well as on debt investment transactions and NPL portfolio acquisitions and disposals. He began his career in the corporate department of a national law firm. He later worked in the treasury legal department of Spain’s largest savings bank. Prior to joining Cases Lacambra, he led the Investment Banking Legal Advisory team at Spain’s third-largest bank.

He is co-author of the book Banking and Securities Law, 2nd Edition (Editorial Colex, May 2012), co-director of the Banking Contracts Course at the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB), and a frequent speaker at seminars, conferences, and prestigious forums.
